Product Description |
Some salad spinners require turning a crank as fast as you can. Tiring, right? Not so this one from Chef'n. The creative team has designed an energy efficient model that flings the water off lettuce and herbs with just a few up-and-down pumps of the lever-style handle. You don't even have to wait for it to slow on its own; simply push the stop button. The non-skid base keeps the spinner from hopping around the counter, and the handle locks down for compact storage. All in all, this is an elegant spinner that every kitchen needs. The large size measures 10-1/2 inches in diameter, enough room for plenty of fresh salad greens. Available in two color combinations, the salad spinner is dishwasher-safe and makes a great gift. Chef'n approaches housewares with a creative mind and sense of humor. Innovations are its signature element, an approach started by founder and self-proclaimed Famous Inventor, David Holcomb, with his Garlic Machine in 1982. From rabbit-eared pepper grinders to collapsible colanders, Chef'n delights as it brings fresh seasoning to the kitchen and home. --Ann Bieri

Effective and cute!

I love colorful kitchen gadgets so I was really excited to purchase this salad spinner. I was reluctant to spend money on one and was content to use the $5 I had from Walmart.. which did the bare minimum and no more. This Chef'n salad spinner works perfectly and the best part (which was a problem with my last spinner) is the rubber on the bottom which keeps it from slipping on the counter. Really convenient to store as well.

Purchased the Chef'n Salad Spinner recently since I started growing all types of lettuce this winter in my cold frame. The device works great, very simple to operate and clean. Definitely one of my better purchases this year!

Built well and works great. It replaces one that was pulled by cord and the cord broke in less then 6 months. This one is built better and works great.

Although designed for salad spinning, I use it for various other things: I use it as a strainer; to clean fruit and dry fruit; I also use the outer shell to serve salad, or display fruit on the counter when I have company. Highly recommend it.
